In our attempt to make a simple weekend to an exciting one, we usually go to the white beaches of Samal Island particularly in Paradise Beach Resort. Its simplicity, affordability and easy access make it a perfect option for that perfect weekend getaway.

We took a brief dip on its beaches, cool water under hot and shining sun. Played with their aqua sports equipment such as the aqua bike and double kayak, my son Ethan enjoyed the ride since it was his first.

For last and best of it, we loved their food especially the deep fried shrimps and locally concocted desserts. We also made a short tour of their resort, which proudly boast about their superior rooms, playgrounds, billiard hall, basketball court, volleyball court and their aviary that have several numbers of wonderful birds.
